One Day Finish!

Monday, June 25, 2007
On another note, does anyone watch Army Wives? I like it! I didn't think I would but I do :-) I'm going to see if I get some sleep now so I can have a full day tomorrow instead of me waking up at 5pm only to go back to sleep and going back to work the next night. TTFN!

Update Time!
I'm finally done with my house on my BBD *yea* I'm working on the roof now, which shouldn't be too tedious - there's only so much stitching with one color that I can stand for! Atleast purple is prettier and the roof isn't as big as the house. Once I'm done with it I'm going to stitch on The Big Zipper for a while. Here's where I'm at with it:

I've been trying to not shop as much as I use to so I can save some money, and I'm actually doing a good job at it. It's amazing how much I saved in a month. I was so proud of myself that I decided to buy myself a "way to go" gift LOL. When it comes in I'll share a picture :-) Hopefully it comes in next week when I need a pick me up, all of my work days are sort of squished together so it'll seem like I'm working a whole lot more, plus I'm seriously thinking of doing some OT so I can save more and pay off my credit cards quicker.
Well I'm off - I need to walk outside or something before I go crazy LOL. TTFN

Bookmark Exchange!
I received my bookmark exchange from Lisa today! It was a very nice package. First off she wrapped it in brown wrapping paper - this is something I've always wanted...a package wrapped in the brown paper LOL (I know I'm weird.) Then she stuffed it with lots of goodies! You see the pictures of Ana with her bandana? Well, she made it! How cool is that??? The fabric is also the same fabric of the pillow *and* the backing of the bookmark, also made by Lisa. Everything is sooooo pretty! I really need to do more exchanges! Other things sent are 2 packets of tea, a book (Dead Giveaway,) a packet of needles size 26 (my size) an "M" notepad, a teeny *pink* bag and a cute card, which both Kelly and my cousin loved. After the 15th shotAna was nice enough to cooperate and take a decent picture, I guess she had thoroughly inspected everything by then. I really loved everything I received, wish this exchange wasn't over LOL. TTFN I need a nap, I feel like I haven't slept in days!
Pretty Pretty Hearts!
I went to my stitchy date today at my not so LNS and look what they had there waiting for me! Aren't they pretty? Seeing things like this makes me want to stitch faster so I can get more things finished hehe. I don't think I need to mention that I had fun today but I did, Kelly even came with me and sat patiently while I stitched, he even bought me "just because" roses afterwards. He's such a good BF most of the times (he does have his *pish* "men" moments LOL.)I've been stitching on BBD Awake The Dawning Day and while it seems like I'm getting no where I actually have most of the house (minus the roof) done. I should have taken an update picture to post but I didn't...maybe next time.
While at my nsLNS I bought fabric for the Calico monthly cats. Petra is doing them all on one fabric and they look so pretty that I have to be a copy cat and stitch them :-)
Did I mention I started The Big Zipper? One night I couldn't sleep and I had about enough of stitching with WDW Pebble (the color of the house) that I started it. It doesn't seem that big anymore. I figure I'll stitch on it whenever I get tired of ATDD and go back and forth.
Well I'm off to watch Big Love on Tivo. TTFN!
Thursday, June 07, 2007
I started watching Big Love Season 1 on DVD. It was on sale at Amazon.com and it's something that I've been wanting to watch for a while. It's interesting...
I've abandoned My Country Home by ED and started Awake the Dawning Day by Blackbird Designs. I'm not happy with the way my stitches are laying. I don't know what's wrong...maybe it's just me. I'm going to start The Big Zipper soon, I just don't know when. ED is also going to move to Kelly's house so I have something to stitch. Anyway here are some pictures.

Oh big news I have to share! I cooked! I know what's the big deal, but I don't know how to cook and have been afraid to do it. I figured that this is one of the few things that keep me from moving out so yesterday I defrosted some ribeye steaks, seasoned them, and broiled them and it was good! Last time I tried to cook it was a disaster so I'm really happy about it. Next up is trying to bake a chicken. I told Kelly I'm going to learn even if it kills him in the process LOL.
Well I haven't been to sleep since yesterday and I'm pretty sure I'll crash pretty soon so TTFN!

No Pictures...
I went to my not so LNS yesterday - didn't do much damage, mainly just bought stuff for the exchanges I signed up for in my yahoo group. I did buy myself 3 things though :-) The new Loose Feather's Awake the Dawning the Day was a must for me, as well as the fabric and floss. I also got one of those tool thingies that you pull the short threads with (I don't know what it's called) and a package of needles. Oh and I dropped off Summer Snapperland to be framed. I'm not sure how I feel about the frame chosen...it's like I can never choose any framework without Kelly being there.
I haven't stitched much. I may abandon my ED for a while, I'm just not feeling it right now. I went through the stash that I have by my night stand and found other things to stitch. The chance that I start my Loose Feather's is great too. I keep pulling out the Big Zipper but JEEZ! is that thing big!!! I think my 17x 17 Q-Snaps are too small for the fabric. I'd like to start it though because there's no way I'm going to start stitching it once other pieces come out, it will seem too big for me then. I also made some fobs for my exchanges...well one fob and I had to re-string a fob I had already made. Note to those I made fobs for: If they ever fall apart you can send them back and I'll fix them. I forgot to put a crimping bead at the end so they may fall apart if tugged on. If it's too much a hassle (Cheryl) let me know and I'll just send another one made the right way! :-)
Well I'm going to take a nap or just slug around. TTFN!

My House
Work has kept me busy and tired so I haven't been able to blog but I'm off today and I rested yesterday so I'm here. Stitched last night into the wee hours of the morning - didn't get far but I did finish my house. And here it is...
I made a boo-boo but was too tired and anxious to get this done so I just left it. Life's too short to worry about the small things no? The name of this design is My Country House by Elizabeth's Designs and I'm stitching it on the recommended fabric (35ct Sheep's Straw Linen by R&R Reproductions - wow is it tiny!) with DMC floss. So that's all I have to report. I'm going to see The Bravery tonight and would like to stitch a bit before it's time for me to leave so TTFN!

It's Done!!!!
Summer Snapperland is done! I wanted to finish it before I went to work and I managed to do so. I'm so happy that I finish it, not so happy that I go back to work tonight *groan* It's only for one night but I work the entire weekend (Fri-Sun) Well I'm going to take an hour nap before I have to get ready to leave. Thanks for looking and if you leave a comment - thanks for that too!

Hola Bloggers!
Wednesday's play was fantastic! My cousin's MIL saw Phantom 3 times she told me. Before going to see it I couldn't picture how anyone could see the same play 3 times but if anyone is looking for company to go see it I honestly wouldn't mind going again. The guy who plays the Phantom (Gary Mauer I think it is) is wonderful! He made me cry twice and his voice is just lovely, as a matter of fact, all their voices were lovely. Our seats were really good, there were no "tall" people in front of us and we weren't that close to the stage that we had to bend our necks to see the stage. I just finished seeing the movie, I've had the DVD for the longest but never got around to see it - the play was way better but the movie is still good. I really loved the play and I think I'm hooked on Broadway shows LOL. I'm trying to go see Beauty and the Beast before it goes off, everyone has seen it already so I don't know who to ask to come with me and don't know if Kelly would appreciate it. I guess we'll see...
I didn't do much yesterday but go to the movies. We were suppose to go to see the Mets play but I was just just too tired. I'm glad I took the day to rest, at night we went to the movies to see Georgia Rule. My cousin enjoyed it more than I did. I always laugh whenever I take him or Kelly to watch a "chick flick" (as they call it) and they enjoy it more than me.
Today I spent the day trying to stitch. I wanted to finish this before I went back to work but I don't think that's going to happen. I have all that blue (ocean) and the rest of the border to stitch. Tonight we're going out so pretty soon I'll have to stop stitching and get ready. Tomorrow my cousin's son is doing his first communion so that day is pretty much done. Anyway here's a picture of my progress:

Before I go, I've been tagged by both Cheryl and Juls to name 8 Random things that aren't known about me. So before I do that here are the rules:
1. Each player starts with 8 random facts/habits about themselves.
2. People who are tagged write a blog post about their own 8 random things and post these rules.
3. At the end of your blog you need to tag 8 people and post their names.
4. Don't forget to leave them a comment and tell them they're tagged, and to read your blog.
I'm not going to so 3 and 4 since I think almost everyone has been tagged, so please forgive me for "bending" the rules.
Ok 8 Random Things About Me...
1. I'm left handed but hold the paper like a right handed person. The way I write freaks people out LOL.
2. I give the dogs a new name weekly. Kobe was use to it and Ana is use to it but Kyle just doesn't get it yet, half the time he won't answer to Kyle, I guess it all comes with being a rescue dog.
3. I can't swim.
4. I'm EXTREMELY shy. Like "I need therapy" shy. But once I feel comfortable I'm a chatter box.
5. Kelly is the total opposite of what I was looking for and just happened to be just right for me.
6. I never wanted to be a nurse.
7. My first langauge is Spanish but when I learned to speak English I forgot my Spanish and had to relearn it.
8. I'm horrible with money and NEED to write out a budget, if I don't God only knows where all my money goes.
And lastly I leave you a picture of my Amit (Ana's new name for the week) sometimes I wish I had her life...

THANK YOU CHERYL!!!
Cheryl left me a comment about the Arctic Monkeys and asked if listened to them. I didn't so I figured I'd give them a try. They're pretty good! I then went on a search for a their concert and they were playing at the Hammerstein Ballroom yesterday - of course their show was sold out but I decided to keep searching for tickets. I won 2 on Ebay, the concert was GA but you were assigned to a floor (it's 3 floors) and lucky us we were on the floor. They put on a awesome show!!! They are now on my MUST SEE EVERYTIME list LOL. I went with my cousin Jorge and I have to thank him too because 1. He HATES GA and 2.People were pushing and where as I like it - he HATES it. I couldn't bring my camera so I don't have any "live" footage and what I took with my phone just sucks but I do have some blurry pictures to share :-) Note to self: Next time they say No Cameras bring yours anyway!
I'm off for now - I'm going to see The Phantom of the Opera with my mom and cousin. I've been doing a lot on my vacation and I'm going to hate going back to work next week. I think tomorrow we're going to a baseball game, it's not a definite plan so I won't count on it. I'll try to post a progress picture of Summer Snapperland too - I'm so happy I stitched this piece because it's looking so pretty, I think it's the change of fabric - the suggested one was just too dark! TTYL!

Three Down...

This square is called Whalehouse and the whale on top of the house is suppose to have a little smile and an eye but I think I'm going to leave it out, I mean the people don't have faces so why should a whale? Plus I don't want it to look too cutesy ya know? Well I'm going to start working on the border around it. TTFN!

What can happen...
I was watching TV when I heard a loud thud, I go check my mom to make sure she's ok since she was cleaning and she was. So I ask her what was that noise and she points to the folding table in the other room - it fell. I go to pick it up and see that the iron tipped over. Well can you guess what happens next? I didn't know that my mother used the iron minutes to go and when I go to pick it up (by the hot side) I burn my fingers!!!
Obviously it's not that bad since I'm blogging but they just feel weird (hard) and I can't stitch as fast but it could have been worse. On to other things!
The Ballet was very nice! It would have helped if I knew the story of Romeo and Juliet. I know you're thinking who doesn't know the story of Romeo and Juliet?!?! But I know the story, I just don't know about the supporting characters. After reading the Playbill I was on board. My cousins made me laugh when they told me they didn't know that there was no talking. My response to them - "It's a ballet not a play!" LOL I think I'd go to see another one.
Tonight I'm going to watch TV until it's time to go to Starbucks. I can't wait to see The Office but will have to since my Tivo feels it's more important to record Grey's instead of The Office, tonight I think Pam tells Jim how she feels about him...tomorrow I'll find out when I buy it on iTunes. If My Name is Earl wasn't 40 minutes long I think I wouldn't have this problem *sigh* TTFN I'm off to watch TV!

Four Days Later...

I picked up Delivering Fluers from the framers yesterday. I don't know how I feel about the frame. The frame itself is nice and outside when I was taking the picture looked nice but it doesn't look the same inside...could just be me.

Tonight I'm going to the ballet to see Romeo and Juliet. This is a first for me so I'm excited. I read on the website that you can dress in whatever you want which is great, thanks to TV I thought you had to dress up.

A Mini Finish!

I just finished the 2nd square to my Summer Snapperland. I don't like this season but I think it's going to look very nice. So far I like the way the sea goes from one square to the other one. I know Spring is like this with the soil but I'll have to check if Winter is also. I'm going to work on the border before moving onto another square. I already know that I'm leaving the 4th square for last simply because I get very anxious with stitching a large space with just one color, the only thing that doesn't discourage me is that it's in blue and not white...I just can't stitch in white my stitches look sloppy.
We had a new visitor today, my sister came over with the kids and their new puppy "Precious." I hate the name btw, but it's not my dog so it shouldn't matter. Ana was excited about her, she loves puppies but Precious wanted nothing to do with Ana. I guess with her being so little and Ana towering over her she got scared. I couldn't get a picture of the two of them together but did manage to get one of her "hiding." I doubt they'll be friends in the future because Precious already has little dog qualities ie. she hates other dogs. Well with that being said I also have another addition to tell about!I'm....the new owner of another pair of scissors!!! LOL I'm so corny sometimes. I bought the Maria's and while I haven't used them yet I did have a perfect fob for them. The picture shows them with my Jamie's which were "eh" to me until I put a fob on them and all of sudden they're beautiful like the rest of them :-)
Well that's all from me today...Thanks for the comments on my concert post!!! I'm going to a "fight" party tonight (I hope De La Hoya wins!)and once the fight is over it turns into a "poker" party. I really hate to play poker with these people...some are just way too cocky and competitive for me and let's not mention the comments that are made *ugh* I mean seriously IT'S JUST A GAME but they're my family (LOL) so I have to put up with it...in the long run they aren't that bad. Enjoy the rest of the weekend, it's beautiful here, well maybe a little too hot for me but atleast it's not raining like in some places.

Wondeful Weekend! No Stitchy news though...
The Killers on Saturday were awesome. I didn't get any good footage of the camera - my cousin had one too many and I was about 3 steps behind him LOL. I feel bad for my "sober" cousin who had to take care of us until the fresh air hit me, then it was us taking care of him. I do have Sam's Town but the file is too big to upload...anyone know of another place besides You Tube that I can use?
Here are 2 videos...sorry about the quality
The Killers - Smile Like You Mean It
The Killers - Bones
Anyway the opening to the concert was great. One of the opening bands were these guys from Japan and they played all Beatles songs. The "older" people in the crowd (myself included) really enjoyed it. It was too dark to film it but the opening to The Killers was NICE!!! They had this white sheer curtain type thing where pictures from Sam's Town flashed on sort of like when the TV goes out and gets fuzzy and then once in a while confetti would get blown out cannonball style, we had crappy seats (I can never get good seats for The Killers) but we still had a good view and like I said the concert was GREAT! My cousin has a gift with making best friends with strangers so we made some new friends that night. Going to work the next night was hard, by 11pm I was almost passed out in my chair THANKFULLY it was a very night, it was so quiet that everyone was complaining how quiet it was - it was like we were waiting for something to happen that's how quiet it was.
Modest Mouse was last night, only 2 of us went since my other cousins really don't like them like my other cousin and I. Sometimes having a girls night out with it being just the 2 of us is nice. She's more like me, so we tend to have a good time whenever we hang. The seats were nice, we weren't able to go up front like at the Bloc Party concert (it was held at the same venue) but the security guard that was with us was really nice. He was like ok guys I move up and you move up and no one will ever know. The show wasn't as great as the first one we went to last year (I really think it was the seats - last time we were up front) but still nice - we danced in the aisle with the rest of the MM Fans.
Here's some MM:
Modest Mouse - Dashboard
Modest Mouse - Bury Me With It
Modest Mouse - Bukowski
I think I'm addicted to going to concerts...I was going to put myself on a concert diet but after this weekend I've decided not to. It's something I enjoy and what's life if you don't enjoy it right? Our next concert is May 18th and we're going to see Talib Kweli, then The Bravery, then The Fray, and then O.A.R. and whatever else we find in between or after :-) I'm still trying to decide if I want to go to Jersey to go see Bloc Party...I really do love them but don't know how far Asbury Park. Oh and I'm also going to the ballet on the 9th to see Romeo and Juliet :-)
Anyone know how one dresses for that?
Well I work tonight so I'm going to take a nap - my throat hurts and I hope I'm not getting sick but I'll be on vacation soon so although it doesn't matter I really don't want to spend it sick.

Happy Birthday Ana!
Summer Snapperland Update!
Here's a picture...
I have plans for today. Ana's birthday was on the 24th so I'm cutting her a cake! (Yes I'm one of those weird pet parents, thank you very much!) I also have to buy some jeans for my concert on Saturday, I don't know what happened but it's like all of my jeans disappeared. Well I'm off, I'm going to try and stitch some more tonight. I work tomorrow so if I don't stitch tonight I probably won't stitch until I'm on vacation (just 4 more work days!!!) TTFNSaturday, April 21, 2007
Hola!

Talking about work...I think I like it LOL. I had this patient that is a #1 PIA but really I noticed he just wanted company, after spending time with him, making him laugh and combing his hair he stopped ringing the call light every 2 seconds. Another one was certified crazy the night before (like we need a psych consult on her at 2am) but same thing - wanted someone to sit with her and talk. Thankfully I had time last night to do this because if I didn't I'd hate to imagine how'd they behave.

A finish :)
My stitching date was today and it was really nice! I was able to finish Bluebird Message while there and now I can't wait to pick it up once it's framed.
Now onto my new project...Summer Snapperland. I love my fabric so far, I just hope it looks nice once I'm done.
Well tomorrow is a work day and I have to wake up early to drop off the rental car and run some other errands plus I'm dead tired! TTYL Saturday, April 14, 2007
Update Time :)
I've been up since 6am so I may be back on a somewhat normal sleep schedule for the next 3 days that I'm off *yea* I work tonight so actually we'll see about it, but since it's only one night I may be able to be normal for a while. That first night that I was off I slept all day for 12 hours straight and stayed up from 11pm until yesterday at 9pm. Anyway I woke up this morning and started stitching right away and I can see that light at the end of the tunnel again :-) Once I finish the end branch and the eyelets I can move on to another project because I'll stitch the border on the train to work or at work. It's mindless so it should go quick. *fingers crossed* I'm dying to get back to Dollhouse after seeing Cheryl's progress and I need to stitch Summer Snapperland and hopefully get it done before the summer is over and let's not mention the 2 Elizabeth Design's that I have kitted up waiting for me also LOL. Well I just wanted to share this picture and now I will go back to stitching until it's time for me to nap (I need lots of sleep it seems...) TTFN!

I'm in Heaven!
I just found 9 songs that are new to me - that's like an entire album!
I'm off to stitch. I'm finally off from work for 2 consecutive days! Not a big thing to celebrate, but I just worked 5 days with only 1 day to rest in between. Not hard when you work an 8hr shift but a 12hr shift, IMO, is another story. I'm on vacation for 2 weeks in May so I'm counting the days :-)

I'm so confused...

Last night we watched The Good Shepherd on DVD - good movie but I think I'm still confused. I was stitching during the movie so I could blame it on that, but Kelly gave it his undivided attention and was a bit confused also so I know it's not that. ********SPOILER ALERT************Did Matt Damon's character have something to do with killing his son's bride to be or what?

I put a real dent into Bluebird Message last night - it's like I could finally see the light at the end of the tunnel but then I looked at the chart and saw that I'm like only half done and the light went out LOL. I go back to work tomorrow (was off for a while) so my stitching time will be reduced. I've already decided that I'll stitch the border on the train - it's not something I have to really concentrate on.
Something I just have to say - I love my new phone! I have the Treo 700wx and it's just like "OMG How did I live without this??" If I could play Sims on it I would have no need for my laptop LOL. I still have my Nextel until the end of the month but I don't use it anymore...I sort of miss my Direct Connect it was much quicker when I wanted to tell my cousin to come outside instead of waiting for the phone to ring and him picking up, but since he switched over too there's no one to DC.
TTYL!

Bloc Party was on Friday and it was AWESOME! It was held at The United Palace Theater which turned out to be a church known as The United Church. Kele invited everyone to the front and since we weren't too far from the front my cousin and I(left my other cousins) and went to the front. It was a really great concert - even the opening bands were good. The beer was expensive, even when you compared it to MSG, if you can imagine! Our Modest Mouse concert is at the same venue and I already scoped out our seats (which aren't bad) and if they also invite to the front well my cousin and I will definitely be there. Of course I have pics to share...so enjoy! Here's some video...
and a snippet of the end of a song they played
I also have another slide show to share with you...everytime I go to this train station I stare at these little people in awe...they always make me smile so I thought since I had the camera on me I'd take secret (because it's illegal to take pics in the train station/train) for my personal picture collection. I only got a picture of four of them but there are more of them throughout the entire station.

Random Thought Coming...
Saturday, March 24, 2007
Bloc Party...a bit boring maybe
If it can be fused then it can be split
It's all under control
If it can be lost then it can be won
If it can be touched then it can be turned
All you need is time
We promised the world we'd tame it, what were we hoping for?
A sense of purpose and a sense of skill
A sense of function but a disregard
We will not be the first, we won't
You said you were going to conquer new frontiers,
Go stick your bloody head in the jaws of the beast
If I've said this once I've said it a million times...I love Bloc Party and when I'm happy I listen to Bloc Party, when I'm sad I listen to Bloc Party, when I'm upset I listen to Bloc Party, when I'm eh...well you get the picture. They play in NYC this weekend, well next weekend and I'm going to see them...I can't wait - I love them LOL. I woke up early to get these tickets and this morning I woke up early again to get tickets to see The Bravery and Modest Mouse (this is another fav of mine.) I love concerts - the live music just makes me want to do the cockaroach dance LOL. (I'm so corny)
Onto non Bloc Party/concert news...I'm still sick. I have this cough that just won't budge and it's not a nice "I have a tickle in my throat" cough it's a hacking "OMG what does this girl have and is it contagious?" type cough. I had this patient the last 2 days who had the same cough (only worse) and everytime my patient coughed I'd cough right with him. Then it's hard for me to breath - it just feels like my lungs aren't expanding to full capacity. My dad has been smoking around me my entire life (then I smoked for a few years myself thinking it was cool) so who knows what shape my lungs are in. The doctor doesn't seem to be too worried but he's not the one who can't breath. I keep saying I'm going to find a new doctor but when your doctor is 2 blocks away from you it's hard leave.
I finally broke down and decided to leave Nextel. The service since the merge with Sprint is just horrible. It's like I'm paying not to have service. I see some people on the subway platform and they're chatting away on their phones and I look at my screen and it says No Service, it's so annoying. So I'm going with Verizon and (this is the exciting part) I got a Treo :-) I will now have internet access with me all the time! I can't wait until it comes in, it should be here next week sometime. I'm going to d/l my drug guide into it and then I can get rid of my handheld and carry less. I made Kelly get the same phone although he really has no use for it - I just wanted us to be twins...
Not much stitching has gone on, work, as always, has cut into my stitching time. I've also been playing Sims a lot too. I played all day yesterday. My sim just had another baby and her sim husband is working hard to get that next promotion to take care of the ever growing family so I've been busy. I have been itching to start something new. I don't know what it is about putting those first stitches on fabric that's so exciting...on my last stash shopping trip I bought fabric for a few pieces I want to stitch as well as a few new charts. One of the charts I kitted up while there since I've been eyeing it on someone else's blog (forget the blog so I can link it) and while at my not so LNS the Rosewood Manor trunkshow was there and the project was there framed so I couldn't resist! It's And a Forest Grew and it's HUGE! Well it's huge in my book, I'm pretty sure there are bigger out there.
Ok I'm off to eat lunch - I've been trying to lose weight and so far have managed to lose 8 lbs. I guess it really does matter whether you're eating in moderation and walk a little more. I want to start working out soon (I did for about 2 weeks then got sick) so the weight loss is actually a great push towards doing more.
Oh before I leave...I still have one more spot for my PIF if anyone is interested. I have the others in envelopes already I just have to stop procrastinating and mail them out. Just drop me an email if you're interested. And thanks to those who left me comments on my frame...I still haven't hung it up on the wall and really should do that soon. Okies TTYL!

A new WIP
I chose to stitch Bluebird Message by Blackbird Designs after finishing my heart. I like the red in this. After all this horrible weather it's nice to see something bright.
I finally got Spring Snapperland back from the framers - don't know how accurate this picture is but the frame sort of compliments the colors in the piece. I love it :-)Other than my WIP and framed piece I have nothing else to share. I've been sick since Monday and was confined to my bed with a fever until Friday when I dragged myself to work. I'm still sick - I don't know if I can call what I have a cold since it feels a lot worse and I have a hard time breathing and feel dizzy sometimes. Anyway enough complaining I'm going back to stitching or maybe even to sleep...

Lots of pics and Pay It Forward!

Well believe it or not I had my post ready to go and then something happened and I lost it! *grrrr* I'm going to try this once more.
I have lots of pictures to show. I also signed up for Jamie's pay it forward and already have my "pieces of art" made and ready to go sooooo if you'd like to sign up for my pay it forward then leave me a comment or go to my profile and email me all of your information. I know lots of people have done this already and I'm a bit late so I'm going to change my rules (if that's ok.)
If you sign up for my PIF don't worry about having to actually PIF - just do something nice for someone and that will be fine enough :-)
Ok now onto my pictures *hopefully* I don't screw up this time!

This is Kyle - today I asked him if anyone ever told him he was cute and he sort of looked at me like "all the time." LOL

These are my scissor fobs. I sort of went crazy one night and made these. I'm keeping 2 of them but the others are my PIFs.
And below are pictures of my fobs individually :)

Today I went to my first Machine Applique Class at the City Quilter. It was fun :-) My heart came out nice but then I tried a star and while that was going ok - the instructor gave me a very nice compliment and my head went HUGE and I got sloppy LOL so don't stare to hard at my star LOL.
