A Real Finish :)

I finished stitching this in the morning and figured I'll just finish it off right after since I had the finishing kit. It took me about 4 hours to put together the hardest parts were sewing on the cording and lacing the stitching onto the board (because I didn't want to glue it but I don't know if I'll do the same next time.) Here's another view: Now that it's done I can dedicate my vacation to an old UFO that I want to finish, Victoria's Quaker, Betsy, and Light Your Way, so don't expect any finishes from me any time soon LOL. Here's an update on Light Your Way:
I found this picture the other night while reading In Touch and had to share it. I think it's the cutest!
Now I will go stitch! Thanks for stopping by and thanks to those that leave me comments, especially the new comers!

That monkey/dove pic my co worker has as her desktop wallpaper...I saw it at some UK online mag and emailed to everyone at work...I think it's getting around the world!
I can't believe you put that wonderful Silver Needle project together, not only is the stitching great, but the finishing...wow...you are amazing how you just read the directions and can put them together with what looks like complete ease! Enjoy your vacation...if you are heading to Tawnys at any time next week let me know I want to take a day off and stitch as well!

Mercy! It came out so beautifully. I can't believe how you finished it just by following the directions! Congrats on the finish. As far as that pic goes, we saw it also when we were checking out at the grocery store. LOL

Congrats on your finish :) I just received this in the mail from Silver Needle this weekend, and am looking forward to tackling it. It looks like it should be a quick stitch, but I have never stitched with a lot of these fun fibers before and am a bit scared of all of the "warnings" that they give in the directions :)
